When Tammy was 16 she prepared for her mother’s birthday a little booklet that was filled with statements & poetry, both in Hebrew & in English, which had one common topic – the relationship between writer & mother.

Tammy, despite being quite young, knew that mom will be moved by this gift more so than any other present. On the first page she quoted from English & then wrote in Hebrew:

* “To the best mother in the world, on your birthday... 1/2/1982”

She copied the poem Mother, translated from Russian

 

* To dear mom. On Mother’s Day – May 14, 1995, from your daughter, Tammy. Many kisses & success in your studies.”
